It opens with a slow statement of this classic melody. The tempo is then doubled, and the chart swings out from there. It then slows down for a gorgeous and dramatic ending. Bambridge outdid himself with this one. This is recorded (featuring Pete Christlieb) on the Tonight Show Band CD 'Once More With Feeling' (Amherst Records). 5-4-3-4 with opt. parts for as many as 9 brass players.
