The traditional Hanukah song Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel meets Brazil! Lead tenor and trombone state the melody at the beginning. The first solo section is open for saxophones or rhythm; the second is open fro trumpet or trombone. After the solos, the melody is stated in a four voice fugue, a shout chorus and a montuno figure that builds to the end. Instrumentation -s 5-4-4-4 with optional percussion, no doubles, and reasonable brass ranges (lead trumpet to C).
