Commissioned by The Noteables (US Air Force Jazz Band), 'Drop Down' is an uptempo bebop big band tune that, while sounding familiar, is wholly original. This song features solos for trumpet and guitar (solo changes are also in Tenor 1). The pinnacle of the arrangement is 36-bar a cappella soli. This is a great piece to show off the virtuosity of a tight ensemble. Leat trumpet plays up to a written F# above high C. 5/4/4/P/B/D. Medium - Difficult
