This piece is a swinging blues in 3 from the John Paulson Big Band Project CD/DVD. There are solo opportunities for any sax or rhythm at the start followed by chances for trumpet and/or trombone to show their stuff. After a straight ahead start, there is a sudden shift to 4 with a question-answer like section in the brass followed by a sax soli and eventual return to 3 at the top. Medium difficulty level 4 because of the meter changes and contrapuntal writing with the trumpet range to C6 and the trombone to A4. Medium difficult.
