Commissioned by the Crescent Super Band from Utah, this fast swing original is a hot chart. Solo space is provided for alto, tenor, bari, trumpet, and trombone, with lead trumpet range up to written high F-sharp and a few sax solis. Then you cook it around mm=260 to get a superb vehicle for your advanced jazz group. The percussion part calls for xylophone, vibes, and congas. Not quite as challenging as some Goodwin charts, and will definitely keep the band focused. As recorded by the Big Phat Band.
