Medium Swing Blues. The tune begins with an open C Blues section for piano or guitar a la the Basie Band. The melody has been harmonized with a number of substitutions rather than the standard blues harmony. First solo is Trombone with a cued background. The background leads to an interlude that takes the key to F for the Trumpet solo also with a cued background. There is one chorus of walking bass leading into the shout chorus and final out chorus. This tune needs a pretty strong lead trumpet. Highest note is concert high D, trumpet high E. 5/4/4/P/B/D. Medium Difficult.
