This sophisticated and highly infectious mambo is written in a moderate tempo and features solo space for trumpet and alto sax. (The flute part is optional) Originally composed for the Mario Bauza Orchestra, the title refers to Mario's dog, Piro. (Para Piro in English is For Piro). It was ultimately recorded on a tribute album to Mario by the band Cubarama, produced by Paquito D'Rivera on Termidor Records. This new edition is completely re-edited and engraved with explicitly written out rhythm section parts. (Recorded by Cubarama).
