Here is the piece in its entirety, the full three movement work. The first movement is a jazz waltz with a 'cool' period flavor. The second is a modal blues with some dark timbres and open for any soloist with interchangeable backgrounds. The third section is a challenging fast tempo with a short section in 7/4 time. The original theme retuns at the end. The piece has more depth compositionally than most works written for this level. So if you are looking for something that will stretch your players abilities without killing them, this is a good one for you. Lead Tpt: D above high C (optional F).
