This eclectic recording features classical flute and piano compositions inspired by various folk traditions. Works include Bartok's Hungarian Peasant Dances, Piazzola's Tango Etude No. 3, Borne's Carmen Fantasy, Katherine Hoover's Kokopeli, Foss' Three American Pieces and Roussel's Jouers du Flute as well as Latin and Celtic selections.
