The Alchemy of Earth' by Alexandra Molnar-Suhajda was commissioned by the Blessing Foundation and received its premiere in 2014 at the National Flute Association Convention in Chicago, Illinois. In four evocative movements (Igneus Genesis - Creation; Sacrae Silvae - Cathedral of Forest; Renovamen - Greening; Canticum Orbis Terrae - The Song of the Earth), it is a ground-breaking work for low flute ensembles.
