Beschreibung:
French composer, Alfred Désenclos (1912-1971) described his music as romantic. His music is expressive and atmospheric, as heard in his Plain-Chant Et Allegretto for Trombone andPiano.
Désenclos studied at the Roubaix Conservatory and he won the 1942 Prix de Rome. His Plain-Chant Et Allegretto was published in 1965, towards the end of the composer'slife. A typical performance lasts around eight minutes, in which the Trombone solo line is enhanced by rhythm, and technique. As expected, the two movements are contrasting, suitable for the advanced trombonist. For allTromboneplayers seeking alternative and challenging repertoire, Désenclos' Plain-Chant Et Allegretto makes for a riveting performance.
