Beschreibung:
This is the most popular of Anton Bruckner's three settings of the text. Bruckner was an organist of some note and his use of harmonies and the pure power of his music are apparent in this work. This piece was originally set for SATB a cappella. Doubling or tripling all the parts in a brass choir format would also work well.
