Jean Marie LeClair (1697-1764) was a French Baroque composer and violinist, commonly credited as the founder of the French violin school. This arrangement by Otto Mueller for woodwind quintet is a welcome addition to the Baroque repoertoire for that ensemble. Southern's edition was introduced originally in the Albert Andraud wind instrument series. Movement titles: 1. Menuet 2. Chasse (Hunting Scene).
