Sinfonía Sevillana 1. Panorma Op. 23 for flute, clarinet in A, clarinet in Bb (opt.) and piano, score 21 p. and parts.
Sinfonía Sevillana, composed by the renowned Spanish composer Joaquín Turina, is an orchestral work that vividly depicts the magnificent city of Seville, the composer’s hometown. Turina masterfully employs the vibrant colours of his country, following in the tradition of the great Spanish masters. This arrangement for trio of the first movement is based on the piano version, which was reduced by Turina himself.
