Sequences' was commissionned by the duet 'Dans le Vent' for flute and clarinet. The work is divided into four movements. The first is an homage to Stravinsky, with reminiscences of the Rite of Spring. The second, inspired by the music of Dizzy Gillespie, seems almost improvised.
The third is a charming and amuzing waltz that leads to a brilliant Finale.
