Der Titel dieses Satzes Double Dance stammt vom zweiten Thema der Melodie, die in verdoppelten rhythmischen Werten erscheint. Im zweiten Satz Round Dance wurde die Melodie als dreiteiliger Kanon geschrieben. Es kann keinen Round Dance ohne Square Dance geben und das ist der Titel des letzten Satzes. Viele lustige Perkussionsinstrumente fügen durchgehend interessante Klangfarben hinzu. Diese interessante und clevere Komposition ist ideal für Wettbewerbe und Festivals.

Opening with a bold fanfare statement, the first dance reveals the melodic material that is the basis for all three movements. The title of this movement, Double Dance, is derived from the second statement of the melody, appearing in doubled rhythmic values. The second movement, Round Dance, the melody is written as a three part round. You could not have a Round Dance without a Square Dance, which is the title of final movement.
