Beschreibung:
'Invincible' by Eugene Magalif is a reconstruction of a concert march originally composed by Konstantin Georgiadi, a prisoner from Stalin's GULAG camps. Following approximately two decades in the camps, Georgiadi became a teacher at a music college in Zaporizhia, Ukraine, although following his death, his archives were destroyed. Composer Eugene Magalif's father had met Georgiadi in a GULAG. Occasionally, during Eugene's youth, his father played this march for him, and this reconstruction consists of memories of particular phrases from the piece.
