King Arthur's Ride

King Arthur's Ride is inspired by the Arthurian legends, found in old English folklore. The piece begins with the heraldry and fanfare of the court at Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table. Soon, however, the sounds of the court fade off into the distance, drowned out by the thundering hooves of galloping horses, as the heroic knights ride off on a quest. The mighty crash of battle punctuates the heroic theme representing the great warriors. Heroic themes and exciting parts for all make this a great choice for concert or contest.
