The most popular aria from this opera is "Kuda, kuda vï udalilis" sung by Lensky, fiancé of Olga and friend of Onegin. The aria became well known as "Lensky's aria" and is now transcribed for Bassoon with accompaniment of a Wind Ensemble by Dutch arranger Marc Koninkx.
