Life Celebration is a musical tribute to life itself and is inspired by the cycle of life - from birth, through growth, into fall, resurrection and Finale. The piece was commissioned by 'Byåsen Musikkorps' (Wind Band from Trondheim, Norway) with its conductor Magnus Østlie Hjelmervik and had its premiere on the ensemble's 75th anniversary with support from the Arts Council of Norway.
