Beschreibung:
A great march composed by Oscar Borg, the most famous norwegian composer of music for band. It's always been a part of the repertoire for the 1st Brigade Band (Now The Norwegian Wind Ensemble) in Halden.
Norwegian composer and conductor Oscar Borg conducted the 1st Brigade Band (Now The Norwegian Wind Ensemble) in Halden for more than 40 years. The year of composition of this march is unknown (probably composed sometime between 1905 and 1920) and unfortunately we know very little about it's origin. However, what we know is that this march has been a part of the repertoire for this band on every 17th of May (Norway's National Day) every year since it was composed.
