Die Spitze des Berges liegt 2351 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel und ist somit der höchste Punkt von Portugal. Auf diese Weise beschreibt die Komposition die volle Pracht und Schönheit, die der Berg ausstrahlt und gleichzeitig die Schwierigkeit der Besteigung, mit dem Finale, das den Rausch des Sieges hören lässt.
