Here is a piece that is a perfect finale for your winter concert. Written for band with optional unison chorus, this is a great way to put the two groups together for a rousing finish. The lyrics of Winter Delight include images of sleigh bells, ice skating, fields of snow, and warming by the fireside, but intentionally avoid any reference to any religious holiday, so it is a pure winter selection. A totally enjoyable piece to play and sing, it's not overly challenging, allowing for easy preparation of both groups. You'll want to do this selection every couple of years!
