More Candy For Beginners is a suite of three songs used for absolute beginners by the composer through several years. The method is to sing the melodies before learning it on the instruments. Lyrics has then 'appeared' mostly about candy, the youngsters like to sing about this. In English it goes like this: 'Candy in the hair, eat it if you dare'. And: 'Sweet juice, sweet juice'. And: 'Soft-Ice cone, with cream, sure it's like a dream'.
The composer challenges all to find their own lyrics to the melodies, making it their own with a local twist. This is a good rhythmic exercise for the young players.
