Perfect for unison singing at school, this book contains 555 songs that are suitable for students at a grade 2-10 level. For teaching between grades 1-2, refer to Klari Fredborg's 'Come And Sing 1-2'. Piano accompaniments and Guitar chords are included for each song and many can be accompanied by Percussion and/or Bass. The pieces in this book are also suitable for those who wish to join in on the Recorder or Glockenspiel. The composers and origins of each song are discussed. In order not to push students' voices during the rehearsal, many of the songs featured in 555 Sange are set deeper than usual. It is recommended to gradually transpose them upwards to help the students todevelop voice volume.
