If you think your attic is a mess, imagine what Santa's must look like! A box of 45 RPM records is cause for celebration as the whole gang gets ready to 'Rock Around the Shop Tonight! ' It becomes clear that most of the newly discovered 'leftovers' are still hot gift items, so a special news bulletin is announced from WXMAS News, where Santa tells children to stop sending Christmas lists. Instead, he wants letters from them explaining how they've been good this year! A special 'letter writing' scene follows, as children sing 'Santa, Be Good to Me. ' In the finale, Santa gets ready to deliver all the great 50's toys and games while 'Rockin' Down the Chimney!
