As a composer, he writes in a wide range of forms, including oratorios, masses, motets and hymns in Italian, Latin and English. Here the choir is divided basically in male choir and female choir that are in dialogue until the culmen on the name of Jesus. What the lyrics are asking is the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
