This SATB octavo was written for, and dedicated to, Thomas Bolton and the Ouachita Chamber Singers. The text is taken from the writings of American painter Charles M. Russell. Although Russell's recordings of the West through his paintings and sculpure are well-known, few have read his poetry and prose. The writings used in this work cover the gamut of Russell's style - a simple thought first, then two recordings of actual events, and a light-hearted verse last.
