The text of this exciting choral work is based on the inscription on the Statue of Liberty. It will be sung for President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, their families and other invited friends and relatives at the Inauguration Day Prayer Service on January 21, 2013 at the St. John's Church at Lafayette Square in Washington, D. C. It will be performed by the Choir of St. John's, conducted by Ben Hutto, the Director of Music Ministry and organist at St. John's. Our SATB a cappella arrangement, edited by Judith Clurman, will be available in March. Recorded on the Celebrating the American Spirit CD by Essential Voices USA, under the direction of Judith Clurman.
