This fine Welsh Tune, written by an annonymous composer, is set here with words adapted from the various different translations that seem to be available. Although written for Unison Choir, with a small optional second part, enterprising Choral Directors could split the piece between upper and lower voices as required. It should be sung with careful phrasing suited to the meaning of the words and with a clear smooth tone at an unhurried speed. It is ideal for young choirs, as a duet or even as a solo voice (as in the recording).We have included pictures of the first two pages to give you an idea of the piece.
