Bob Florence's arrangement of Benny Golson's hard bop anthem makes extensive use of creative counterpoint throughout the initial melody statement. The trumpet solo is split between a chorus of just trumpet and bass and trumpet with full ensemble backgrounds. A subdued but swinging shout section leads back into the contrapuntal melody before a somewhat ominous ending. No score.
