Beschreibung:
The Sea Ghost is a supernatural being that occurs in legends around the coast of Norway. In folklore, it was a ghost of a dead fisherman who had drifted on the sea. The trolls on land had the task of protecting nature, among other thins to prevent humans from cutting down too many trees. I have thought that The Sea Ghost has the same task and ensures a clean and fresh sea. Concerning the titles of the four movemtns, they are general and open up for creating own stories. The four movement piece contains a lot of articulation and some modulations. The melody/theme alternates between the four parts. Best of luck with the performance! - Elisabeth Vannebo -
