Beschreibung:
The song, known in Norway as 'Blåmann, Blåmann bukken min', is one of Norway's best known children's songs, and a clear case of art imitating life. The poem by A.O. Vinje was written in 1860, and is based on Vinje's own experiences as a shepard boy. One of his favorite goats was even named Blåmann! The melody was composed by Anne Haavie, and first published in 1871.
