The Norwegian vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Jan Eggum is regarded as one of our most important musicians in the Norwegian folk art and popular music. He recorded his debut album 'Jan Eggum' in 1975.
Under the Norwegian Grammy Award 1993, Jan Eggum launched one of his most famous songs, 'Kor e alle helter hen,' (Where Did All The Heroes Go) which was the opening cut of the album Nesten ikke tilstede - an album that can be counted among his best recordings.
Jan Eggum is known to be a cheerful and melancholic man.
To the conductor
This arrangement is written in a light bossa-style. In addition to the traditional extra parts that can be downloaded online, you will find Part 1 transposed for flutes. This might be useful as a support for your clarinets.
