The opening theme in this song is based on a Dutch folksong 'Wilgeboompjes' from 1735. However, the theme reminds us more about traditional irish folk music. The Norwegian band 'Plumbo' made popular music of the tune, achieving great domestic success in 2011 and 2012. The song was awarded the Hit of the Year 2011 prize at the Norwegian Grammy in January 2012. This excellent arrangement from the pen of Haakon Esplo suits all kind of bands very well.
