As a work commissioned by Ensemble Reconsil taking South Africa as its theme, this composition conjures up a fantasy landscape by means of its symbolic musical language, its timbres and its quotations from the music of the country's original, inhabitants as well as that of European newcomers. In the middle stands the 'Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park'; the establishment of this park of peace has the aim of creating a harmonious, balanced relationship between humans, animals and nature.
