Beschreibung:
In this collection of etudes, I wanted to transpose the different characteristics of various types of fruit into music. Through the observation of their colour (green, red, orange, yellow...), their taste (sweet, bitter, acidic...), the rhythm of their names (short, quick and snappy, long...), or their geographical origins, I was able to associate these elements with tonalities, rhythms, melodies and chords, transforming them into piano etudes for students who have been playing for 3 to 5 years. This is how, for example, oranges (blood oranges that come from Sicily), end up twirling in a C minor gigue, or how the grapefruit, with its acid taste, is represented by staccato minor second chords scattered over the keyboard.
