The name of this collection reflects the diverse character and international provenance of the pieces. Each of them is a 'representative' of a different country and a different musical culture, and therefore provides an excellent opportunity for performers to face different musical genres. Poligrajki are intended for young pianists who want to improve their skills in the field of playing in a piano duo. When writing them, my aim was to create compositions where the technical and interpretation requirements will be well-suited for the abilities of piano students in music schools and will constitute a teaching material referring to the theoretical knowledge of the stylistic differences across the countries.
