Noten von Rolf Zuckowski - Sing mit! Spiel mit!
Rolf Zuckowski, geboren am 12. Mai 1947 in Hamburg, ist aus der deutschen Musiklandschaft nicht wegzudenken. Kein anderer hat wie er in seiner bereits rund 50 Jahre währenden Schaffensphase speziell die Musik für und mit Kindern geprägt und geschaffen. Ob dem damals 30jährigen Diplombetriebswirt und Geschäftsführungsassistenten bei Sikorski bewusst war, welches Fass er mit dem 1977 veröffentlichten Singspiel Rolfs Vogelhochzeit geöffnet hatte?
Nun, 44 Alben hat Rolf Zuckowski seither produziert, unzählige Liederbücher veröffentlicht, deutsche und internationale Musik- und Chorprojekte organisiert und Kinderkulturaustausche durchgeführt. Zudem hat Zuckowski mit »Nessaja« (Ich wollte nie erwachsen sein) und weiteren Texten dem Rockmusiker Peter Maffay zu seinen unvergleichlichen »Tabaluga«-Konzeptalben verholfen.
Kurz – wer ist nicht schon mindestens einmal mit Liedgut von Rolf Zuckowski in Berührung gekommen, und wenn einem auch nur aus einem Impuls heraus die kurze Liedzeile »Wie schön, dass du geboren bist...« über die Lippen kam.
Wenn aus einem Kunstlied ein Volkslied wird
Ein Volkslied ist eigentlich per Definition keinem Autor oder Komponisten zuzuordnen und gehört durch Tradierung dem allgemeinen Liedgut an.Rolf Zuckowski ist es womöglich gelungen, ein solches Lied zu kreieren, von dem eventuell in 200 Jahren kein Mensch mehr weiß, wer es geschaffen hat, welches aber noch immer beim Ausrollen des Plätzchenteiges in der Familie gesungen wird.
»In der Weihnachtsbäckerei« wurde 1987 in Thomas Gottschalks großer Samstagabend-Show (frisch von Frank Elstner übernommen) »Wetten, dass..?« einem Millionenpublikum präsentiert und war ab dem Zeitpunkt aus keiner Heimbackstube mehr wegzudenken. Ein quasi »Volkslied« ward geboren! Möglicherweise wird es nicht das einzige aus seiner Feder bleiben...
Was ist das Erfolgsrezept von Rolf Zuckowski?
Eingängige Melodien, freche Texte und eine unbekümmerte Art machen den Reiz von Zuckowskis Liedern aus. Und viele seiner Lieder machen Kindern richtig Mut! Ich schaff das schon! Lieder, die Kräfte wecken und Mut machen besispielsweise.Wenn auch nicht in die Wiege gelegt, so zumindest als prägendes Teenage-Geschenk, bekam Rolf Zuckowski im Alter von 14 Jahren eine Gitarre von seinem Vater, einem Seemann. Dieses Instrument und die Lust am Schreiben ebneten ihm den Weg als Sänger und Gitarrist der Schulband The Beathovens in den Jahren 1964-1967.
Vermutlich ist es Zuckowskis glückliches Händchen, zur richtigen Zeit mit den richtigen Leuten die richtigen Ideen zu haben. Denn viele seiner Lieder und Projekte sind Gemeinschaftsproduktionen oder durch Werke anderer inspiriert, wie zum Beispiel die Vertonung der Bilder seines Schulfreundes und Bandkollegen Peter Meetz, was zum Singspiel Rolfs Vogelhochzeit führte. Eine weitere wichtige Inspirationsquelle waren hier auch seine eigenen Kinder. Der Erfolg seiner ersten Produktionen schien Zuckowski zu beflügeln; er hatte mit Musik für Kinder seine Nische gefunden.
Sicherlich war es auch von Vorteil, dass Zuckowski als diplomierter Betriebswirt mit Anstellung bei einem renommierten Musikverlag zum einen mit beiden Beinen fest auf dem Boden stand (was ohne Zweifel eine gewisse Sicherheit und damit Unbeschwertheit garantierte) und zum anderen schon einen Fuß in der Tür zu Verlagen und Musikproduzenten hatte – bis er selbst Produzent werden sollte.
