Includes all the existing compositions by Chopin, their extant autographs and copies, first editions and main subsequent editions, attension being besides given to lost compositions and those of doubtful authenticity. In the 'Catalogue' the manuscripts and printed editions are systemized according to various principles. The present quantitative and qualitative state of manuscripts and the place of their storage are given, the classification of editions is presented and the lists of text authors, publishers, editors and arrangers are included and supplemented with auxiliary indexes.
