This piece was written for guitar solo and orchestra in 1999. It is also known as Concierto No. 8-Concierto Cantata de Perugia.

First performed on 14th September 1997, at the Sibelius Academy Helsinki by John Storgårds, violin, the Avanti! Chamber Orchestra and Hannu Lintu, conductor.
