About the Concerto:
I wrote this duos for those two clarinet players and they liked it so much, that they commissioned the double concerto for clarinets (that You are publishing) and this guys established the Budapest Saxophone Quartet and because they liked very much the duos and the double concerto, they asked Hollerung to commission the Sax Quartet Concerto.
I a row, Hollerung liked very much the Sax Q Concerto, so he commissioned the Magnificat.
Magnificat was a big success, so he commissioned the Beats Vir...

The Budapest Saxophone Quartet is:
Bence Szepesi, Levente Puskás, Bernát Tószegi, Marcell Horváth.
I always have been interested in jazz and loved to listen to it. In my composition style, I always separated my jazz kind of works such as Pearls, Dances, etc. from the contemporary ones like any of my Concertos or chamber music. This Sax4Concerto is an old work, where I was in thrill to write for a symphony orchestra in Jazz style.
