It's not often you find anorchestral piece that features the tambourine player but here it is! This is one of the pieces that Bizet originally wrote as incidental music to Alphonse Daudet's play 'L'Arlesienne' (The woman of Arles). Two suites each of four movements were form ed from the original 27 episodes composed for the play. The 'Farandole' is the last movement of the second suite. An exciting romp to the finish for everyone!
