This is the score for the first collection (8 songs in total) of piano duets composed by Dvorak in the dance style of his native Czech Republic (Bohemia), arranged by himself for orchestra. This collection of dances depicting the lively joy of life has become a popular repertoire for orchestras and is enjoyed around the world. Zen-on has published it with commentary by Kyoko Watari, a researcher and composer of Czechoslovak music, but now it has been renewed in a slightly larger size with a new digitally produced score.
