'Suddenly It's Evening' is a nocturne for violin and chamber orchestra, very much of the 'English school', with a winding lyrical theme which slowly builds towards a passionate crescendo before returning from whence it came. Paul Carr
The first performance was given at the English Music Festival on May 27th 2013 with Rupert Marshall-Luck and the Orchestra of St.Paul's conducted by Ben Palmer. The work was revised by the composer in November 2015.
