Presented here for grade 1+ players, this well-known tune from Franz Schubert's song Die Forelle (The Trout) was also used in the 4th movement of his famous Trout Quintet. It is a tale about a large trout living in a pond and the efforts of a determined fisherman to catch it. Though the fisherman perseveres, the fish always manages to escape until one day the persistent fisherman catches it. In this arrangement, the violas and cellos will love having the opportunity to play the melody in the middle section. Each set includes optional 3rd Violin/Viola T.C. (3 copies) and piano parts. Duration 1:55.
