Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen

This is a beautiful and moving setting of the emotional spiritual that is known to have brought tears to Abraham Lincoln when he first heard it. Arranger Bobrowitz brings all of his skills to this spiritual with his use of colorful harmonies, a wide variety of scoring techniques, and occasional lengthened or shortened measures to catch the listener's attention. This emotional string orchestra version is a wonderful follow up to the Oscar winning movie 'Twelve Years a Slave'.
