A story telling piece, 'The Legend of Duffy's Cut' follows this group to America, their work building the railroads that drove our country's expansion and their deaths under suspicious circumstances. To this day, there are reports of mysterious happenings at the site of the deaths, now known as Duffy's Cut. From the sad and mournful 'Duffy's Lament' to the high energy 'McCarrick's Jig,' this piece is a real student and audience pleaser. In signature Bob Phillips' style, all sections have an opportunity to play the melody.
