The music in this unique grade 4-5 collection may be used in three ways: (1) Each of the four snare drum solos may be played alone. (2) Each of the four timpani solos may be played alone. (3) Each of the snare drum and timpani solos may be played together as a duet. This material is ideal for lessons with a private teacher; the student plays one part while the teacher plays the other. To cover all performance options, the music for each piece includes a solo snare drum part, a solo timpani part, and two copies of the music in score form for duet presentations.
