First volume from 'The Planets & sun', a conceptual marimba composition made up of 9 movements. This volume include SUNNU, SOBKU and DILBAT. The first of them need to be interpreted with 'Tape' and 'Video' (optional).
The main idea of this work is positioning the marimba as the center of an authentic soundtrack, where each sound and transition have been studied meticulously to achieve an outstanding final product.
To the interpreter, the feel must be that of 'the soloist' in a symphonic orchestra.
To the audience, that of listening to an 'Original Soundtrack' with one only performer on stage.
I have named this new genre 'MARIMBA FILMS' © (registered trademark).
